I’ve been learning some networking stuff lately, starting with simple fundamentals like “What’s an IP address?” and its two versions. To be honest, I’ve already learned some of this in college. We had a computer networking class where they taught us these basics. However, I struggle to enjoy learning in college. I often prefer learning things from YouTube or reading online documents, as it makes me feel like I’m discovering something new.
For example, yesterday I learned about Secure Shell (SSH), how it helps secure internet communication, and about public and private keys. These are the cool things I enjoy learning. Whenever I read about stuff like this online, I feel like I’m genuinely learning something new.
